Who we are

iCANDYS DIGITAL runs this website. If you have any question about your information, email us at icduk@outlook.com.

What we collect

Your account: if you create an account, we store your email address and a password (the password is stored in a protected form, not as plain text). We also store which artists you follow.

Enquiries and vinyl requests: if you email us or send a vinyl order request, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address and what you are asking for.

Purchases: payments are taken by Payhip. We do not see or store your card details. Payhip shares the order details we need, such as your email address, so that your music can be delivered.

On your own device: the site saves your basket, favourites and listening history in your browser so they are there next time. This stays on your device.

Why we use it

To run your account, deliver what you buy, reply to your messages and keep the website working. We rely on the need to provide the service you asked for, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, and your consent where it is needed.

Who else handles your information

We use trusted services to run the site: Supabase (accounts and site data), Netlify (website hosting) and Payhip (payments and delivery). They handle information only to provide their service. We do not sell your information.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores small pieces of data in your browser to keep you signed in and remember your basket and favourites. Payhip may set its own cookies when you check out; see Payhip’s own policy for details.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account exists. We keep order and enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with your order or your question, and as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email icduk@outlook.com and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
